He has served on the board of the Ouachita Children’s Center, Levi Hospital, and the Kiwanis Club of greater Hot Springs. He is an active member in the Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce and Fifty for the Future. He is a member of the Garland County Dental Society, past president of the Arkansas Orthodontic Association, and a former officer of the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists. He maintains active membership in the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and the Arkansas Dental Association.
Dr. Koppel and his wife of 46 years, Sue, have three children, Wendy, Jodi, and Mark, and two grandchildren, Jake and Ben. Due to the fact that his children live in Oregon, New Zealand, and Chicago, Dr. Koppel feels fortunate to be able to meet people and experience places across the globe.
